We may use personal data for:

4. Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data
We process personal data on the appropriate legal basis depending on the purpose of the processing.
Data required for registration, organisation and provision of a course, language lessons, tutoring or another requested service is processed because it is necessary for the performance of a contract or in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract.
Certain personal data is also processed and retained in order to comply with legal obligations, for example those relating to issuing and retaining invoices and other accounting and tax obligations.
Where processing is based on your consent, for example for certain forms of direct marketing, photography or the publication of photographs, you may withdraw your consent at any time.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the consent was withdrawn.
5. Children's Personal Data
As we also provide language programmes for children, we may collect certain personal data about children when they are enrolled, primarily their first and last name and information about the programme they attend.
Contact and billing information is generally collected from the child's parent or legal guardian.
We use children's personal data only to the extent necessary to organise and provide the programme and for other purposes for which an appropriate legal basis exists.
We pay particular attention to protecting children's privacy when handling their personal data.
6. Photography and Publication of Photographs
Photographs or recordings may occasionally be taken during courses, language lessons, workshops, summer programmes and other activities organised by LINGY Language School.
Where an individual is identifiable in a photograph or recording and consent is required for such processing, we use the photograph or recording only on the basis of appropriate consent from the individual or, in the case of children, from their parent or legal guardian.
Consent is voluntary and is not a condition for a child or adult student to participate in a LINGY Language School programme.
Where appropriate consent has been given, photographs or recordings may be used to present and promote the activities of LINGY Language School on our website, social media accounts or other channels specified when consent is obtained.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at info@lingylanguageschool.com.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any use that took place before consent was withdrawn. Where content has already been published or shared on online platforms, following withdrawal of consent we will endeavour to remove it from the channels under our control where this is technically and reasonably possible.
